Meet Gene – Trusted Experience Gene has sold hundreds of boats and worked on thousands throughout his career. A Florida native and U.S. Navy veteran, his lifelong passion for the water began on local lakes and rivers and grew during his service at Pearl Harbor, where he developed a deep love for offshore fishing. After his honorable discharge, Gene remained in Hawaii, logging over 1,000 hours on the ocean in a single year and landing dozens of trophy yellowfin tuna. Back in Florida, he worked as a power plant operator, captained a 60' sportfishing boat in major tournaments, and ran a successful marine service business for over a decade—handling everything from underwater prop changes to full mechanical and electrical repairs.
